You are summoned to the Annual Parish Council meeting of Saltfleetby Parish Council to be held on Tuesday 9th May 2023 at 7pm, at Marshlands Community Centre.

 

The meeting will commence with a maximum of 10 minutes Open Forum for residents to raise any issues, after which Parishioners are then requested not to interrupt during the business of the meeting.

Statutory Procedures:

 

  1. CHAIRMAN TO THE COUNCIL – To receive Nominations – Councillors to be proposed and seconded; Council to elect a Chairman and Chairman to sign the Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

 

  1. APOLOGIES and approval for absence.

 

  1. DECLARATION OF INTEREST – To receive any declaration from Councillors; Council to consider any written requests for dispensations and resolve whether to grant acceptance.

 

  1. VICE-CHAIRMAN OF THE COUNCIL – To receive Nominations – Councillors to be proposed and seconded; Council to elect a Vice-Chairman and Vice-Chairman to sign the Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

 

  1. DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY INTERESTS – Forms to be completed by Councillors, including acceptance of office.

  1. DOG WASTE BINS – Council to discuss the possibility of installing dog waste bins.

  1. GRASS CUTTING RISK ASSESSMENT – Council to agree risk assessment given to Matrix Groundcare.

 

  1. NEW EMAIL SYSTEM – Council to discuss the 5 providers/quotes for a new .gov email system.

 

  1. NOTICEBOARDS – Quotes (3) received for new noticeboards, council to discuss.

 

  1. REPORTS FROM OUTSIDE BODIES – Council to receive any reports.

 

  1. CORRESPONDENCE – Letters received from residents one to be read out.

 

  1. ACTION PLAN & COUNCILLORS REPORTS – Council to discuss any items to report on the action plan and discuss:
    1. Speed gun equipment update – dates for deployment, council to agree.
    2. Defibrillator location – electrical quote received, council to discuss.
    3. Lytch gate – wait for better weather then assess work
    4. St Clements path – copy of public liability insurance received, letter sent to resident to update them on works.
    5. Website update/communications with general public – website now up to date with minutes etc.
    6. Wind Farm Terms of Reference – needs modifying and formation of sub committee?
