You are summoned to the Parish Council meeting of Saltfleetby Parish Council,

to be held on Tuesday 5th September 2023 at 7pm at Marshlands Community Centre.

 

The meeting will commence with a maximum of 10 minutes Open Forum for residents to raise any issues, after which Parishioners are then requested not to interrupt during the business of the meeting.

 

Action 21/23 Cllrs Lusby and Stone – to write to Planning Department at ELDC supporting breach of planning regulations in Ings Lane.

8. GAYTON WIND FARM FUND - There are two applications for grants.

1. Chat and Craft Group request for supply of desk lamps. Value £129.80

2. Individual request for supply of Junior Golf Clubs. Value £999.00

 

Council to address e-mail from J Facer requesting clarification of some sections of the Terms of Reference

 

Council to discuss make up of Wind Farm Sub-Committee.

 

9. PLANNING APPLICATION

Action 23/23 – Cllrs Lusby and Stone to visit Sea View and report on building works being undertaken by Wildlife Trust/Natural England.

 

10. FINANCIAL MATTERS – 

Action 24/23 – Cllr Lusby to obtain insurance web site log on details and pass to Cllr Martin to enable him to carry out Action 15/23 – to determine if insurance cover is correct.

Action 25/23 – Cllrs Hatton, Lusby and Martin to update Village Assets Register.

13. SIGN IN FRONT OF FOOTBALL CLUB – Council to discuss cancelling order for sign outside Football Club indicating community centre.

 

14. BULB PLANTING IN VERGESAction 17/23 - Cllr Hall to report cost of Bulb Planting in verges at each end of the village on B1200.

 

15. ST CLEMENTS GRAVEYARDS – council to discuss maintenance of both old and new St Clements Graveyards.

 

16. REPORTS FROM OUTSIDE BODIES – Council to receive and discuss any reports.

 

17. CORRESPONDENCE – Council to receive and discuss any correspondence.

 

18. WEBSITE UPDATE/COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE PUBLIC – Council to discuss general communications with the public including a village newsletter.

Action 27/23 – Cllr Lusby to place Councillors e-mail addresses on website.

Action 28/23 - Cllr Lusby to write to Caitlin Horton thanking her for her interest in the Newsletter.

Action 29/23 – Cllr Martin to write on behalf of council to all village residents requesting help with starting a new village newsletter.

 

19. STORAGE OF ARCHIVED MATERIAL

Action 30/23 -Cllrs Lusby & Hatton to review contents of Filing Cabinet.

 

20. TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES

Action 31/23 Cllr Hatton to liaise with Road Safety Partnership for advice on quantity and siting of Active Speed signs on B1200.

Council to discuss traffic calming measures for the B1200 including Active Speed signs. Request for volunteers for CSW training and traffic monitoring.

 

21. LITTER PICKING – Council to discuss litter picking equipment and mobilizing volunteers to pick litter throughout the village.

23. CODE OF CONDUCT POLICY

Action 32/23 Cllr Martin to produce a Code of Conduct Policy document for the council to discuss.

 

24. WEB SITE AMENDMENT-Cllr Hall would like to have the Councillor’s email addresses removed from the website and direct communication through the new Parish Clerk (Pauline Murray).

 

25. INVOICES – there are 2 invoices that require reimbursement to Cllr Lusby for memory sticks purchased from Amazon – a total cost of £31.82.
