Gayton Wind Farm Community Fund Meeting Minutes

The EK Fund Panel Meeting was opened up by the Chairman at 7pm by welcoming those in attendance and thanking them for giving up their time. The business of the meeting then proceeded as follows.

1. Apologies for absence – There was an apology from Cllrs Rigsby and Harrison.

2. Declarations of Interest – There were 3 declarations of interest. Cllr Rick Smith as he is the Chairman of the SCA, Cllr Clark as he is the Manager/Chairman for LTFC & a member of the SCA and Cllr Hopkinson as he is the Chairman of the Snooker Club and a member of the SCA,

3. Items for Decision – There were 3 applications that had been submitted to the Panel for consideration:

• Grimoldby & District Cricket Club – application for sight screens, boundary rope and boundary rope reel machine £3,051 (includes match funding of £1,000).
• Saltfleetby Snooker Club – application for recovering of the snooker tables £2,400.
• Saltfleetby Communication Association – application for Queens Platinum Jubilee Event, Easter Charity Bingo, Ceilidh Dance £2,320.

4. Proposal to go in to closed session – It was resolved to go into closed session p SC, s JL.

5. Applications to be discussed – The Fund Administrator gave out the application packs for the Councillors to complete the assessment scoring sheets. It was explained that section 1 had already been successfully completed by the Fund Administrator.

6. Summary

Outcome of applications:

• Grimoldby & District Cricket Club – application for sight screens, boundary rope and boundary rope reel machine £3,051 (includes match funding of £1,000). 7 approved, 1 reject. Approved overall.
• Saltfleetby Snooker Club – application for recovering of the snooker tables £2,400. 6 approved. Approved overall with proviso of an agenda item for the next Parish Council meeting to explore legal trustees and possible community asset.
• Saltfleetby Communication Association – application for Queens Platinum Jubilee Event, Easter Charity Bingo, Ceilidh Dance £2,320. 5 approved. Approved overall with proviso of procuring banners to advertise the Jubilee event.

7.  Close – SCA and Snooker Club chairmen were notified of the outcome of the Panel meeting at this meeting.
