Approved Gayton Windfarm Community Fund Meeting Minutes for 8th December 2022
Minutes of the Saltfleetby Parish Council Gayton Wind Farm Funding Panel
Meeting held on Thursday 8th December 2022 at 7pm at Marshland Community Centre

The EK Fund Panel Meeting was opened up by the Chairman at 7pm by welcoming those in attendance and thanking them for giving up their time. The business of the meeting then proceeded as follows.
1. Apologies for absence – There was an apology from Cllr Smith.
2. Declarations of Interest – There were 2 declarations of interest. Cllr Facer as he is the Chairman of the Soloby Old School Hub and Cllr Hatton as he submitted the St Peter’s Church application.
3. Items for Decision – There were 4 applications that had been submitted to the Panel for consideration:
- Louth Town Ladies Walking Football application for £2,006.50 for kit for 12 players; Affiliation to FA membership; Pitch Care; Medical kit; Referee/trainers fees; mini goals. Match funding would be considered of £750. Preference would be for full amount
- Soloby Old School Hub application for £800.00 for Saltfleetby Scarecrow Festival (held in September 2022).
- Soloby Old School Hub application for £4,000.00 for Saltfleetby Farmer Christmas Hamper Delivery.
- St Peter’s Saltfleetby, Joint Parish Church Council application for £6,700.00 for refurbishment of footpaths at the church.
4. Proposal to go in to closed session – It was resolved to go into closed session p SC, s JF.
5. Applications to be discussed – The Fund Administrator gave out the application packs for the Councillors to complete the assessment scoring sheets. It was explained that section 1 had already been successfully completed by the Fund Administrator.
6. Summary
Outcome of applications:
- St Peter’s Saltfleetby, Joint Parish Church Council application for £6,700.00 for refurbishment of footpaths at the church – 6 approved, no objections. Approved overall.
- Louth Town Ladies Walking Football application for £2,006.50 for kit for 12 players; Affiliation to FA membership; Pitch Care; Medical kit; Referee/trainers fees; mini goals. Match funding would be considered of £750. Preference would be for full amount - 6 approved, no objections. Approved overall for full amount.
- Soloby Old School Hub application for £800.00 for Saltfleetby Scarecrow Festival (held in September 2022) – 4 approved, 1 reject. Approved overall.
- Soloby Old School Hub application for £4,000.00 for Saltfleetby Farmer Christmas Hamper Delivery – £3,000 approved and gift cards as an alternative to hampers – 5 approved. Approved overall.
7. Close – Madam Chairman will notify the organisations of the outcome of the Panel meeting via email.
